Welcome to the first post on my blog, Good Food, Going Green, and Everything In Between. Through this site, I hope to show you some of my favorite things from my life, from my vegetable garden and my flock of backyard chickens to recipes and craft ideas using food grown in the garden or recycles materials.

Check back often for the latest recipe, information about raising backyard chickens, and the chronicles of growing all sorts of plants, from asparagus to zucchini. I hope that my craft ideas, recipes, and gardening tips will inspire you to create ideas of your own, to try a new recipe, or even to raise a few chickens in your own yard.
